- log into X11, open a terminal and a web browser.
- read the "how to upgrade to 14.2" documentation.
- run the few recommended commands.
- reboot to apply kernel update.
- laptop wrecked, stuck in sddm screen with no possible input.
- (re)boot in single-user mode, disable sddm, finish booting.
- laptop wrecked, stuck on a console "Loading kernel modules".

Now go on, ask me again why I don't run #FreeBSD, The Power to Serve... others...
